What We Do



We're an all day dining restaurant in Hackney, London Fields serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with brunch on the weekends.  Like at our sister restaurant Ducksoup in Soho, our menu draws much of its inspiration from the Mediterranean - we follow the sunshine and blue skies but our focus is always on simple seasonal cooking. 

We change the menu weekly and on Sunday's with have the addition of roasts - which you can also request ahead has part of our 'friends and family' sharing menu, great for larger groups.

Breakfast is served from 10am until noon and features our home-made drinks and fermentations, along with house-made granola, oats, middle eastern style breads and plenty of egg dishes to nourish and satisfy.  Weekday lunch is from noon til 4pm, and is made up of lunch-time favourites from our home-made pasta dishes, seasonal salads and braises.  Dinner starts at 5.30pm ( 6pm mondays ) where you'll find a menu of small and large sharing plates.  We're open for drinks and bar snacks every evening through the whole afternoon & evening.

On the weekend, brunch begins at 10am until 4pm. 

Our fermented drinks and foods are all made in-house and our seasonal kombuchas, drinking vinegars and kefirs are a daily feature - we sell them retail in bottles are all sold and made at Little Duck The Picklery down the road at 68 Dalston Lane. 

We apply the same thought to our wine list and work with a small number of suppliers who source interesting natural and biodynamic wines from producers whose wine-making practices are carried out with love and care. We change our wines regularly because we always want to bring you something new and interesting to enjoy, along with our food and we are happy to say we now import various winemakers ourselves.
