Fermenting Workshops

In our monthly fermenting workshops you'll learn how to make and look after your ferments and preserves successfully at home.  Eating fermented foods as part of your diet goes towards promoting good health.  Fermenting and eating foods is easy when you know how.  From sauerkraut to kimchi, preserved lemons and pickles, we'll show you the ropes and have you taste the different stages of fermenting foods so that you gain a greater understanding on this exciting way of preserving foods.

Dumpling Monday - our next night will be in May

Monday 6th February, 6pm

On the first Monday of every month we celebrate our love for Chinese dumplings and Asian flavours.  Working in collaboration with our friend Benny Zhou who was born and raised in the Xi'an region of China, we hand roll and stuff four different style of dumplings and serve them with a number of other dishes from the same region such as his family recipe for slow cooked pork belly and a potato and fermented black bean salad.  The short menu also has the addition of some of our own favourites that we've discovered on our travels from deep fried fish bones and curry salt to tempura squid bun & wasabi mayo.

Kombucha & Fermented Drinks Workshop

Learn how to make kombucha and fermented drinks such as kefir at home.  Tickets cost £35 per person and we'll take you through how to brew and make successful fermented drinks at home.

Happy Hour - Naturally...

From Monday through to Friday between 5,30pm - 7pm all our wines by the glass are priced at £5. Pricing all our wines the same means that you can afford to be a little more adventurous and try things you might not usually go for.  We change our wines by the glass from week to week so there is always something different to try.  You can drink at the bar or grab a table, we have a small bar menu from 5.30pm and full menu available from 6.30pm.
